Cough Elixir, Dry helps to moisten and coat the throat and chest, helping soothe irritation from a dry, hacking cough. Marshmallow root and horehound are herbs that have a long history of treating respiratory distress. The base of this elixir is wild black cherry bark (Prunus serotina) grown on our property. Wild black cherry bark is anti-tussive and helps suppress cough. It is also a gentle sedative that helps calm the nervous system while easing a cough. Wild cherry bark has traditionally been used in children’s cough remedies for ages.
Recommended dosage
Children 1-2 years: 1-4 drops every 1-2 hours as needed
Children 3-6 years: 5-12 drops every 1-2 hours as needed
Age 7 and up: ½ to 1 dropper full as needed
Discontinue when cough symptoms are relieved
Do not feed products with raw honey to children under 1 year
